WIREWORKS SINGLE MALT ENGLISH WHISKY
Every aspect of Wireworks Single Malt Whisky production and maturation is done onsite at the White Peak Distillery on the River Derwent, Derbyshire, England. This ensures that the unique location and environment can play their part in the provenance of the final spirit.
Provenance, heritage and flavour are at the heart of the distillery ethos and whisky-making process, and its home at the dramatic, former Johnson & Nephew Wire Works.
Our project for Wireworks was to create a brand, bottle and post-ready packaging. The vision was that the design solution reflected the Wireworks history and told the story in a contemporary but elegant way whilst being durable, post-ready and sustainable.
With our idea firmly in place, we brought the Wireworks story to life within the construct of the bottle with a unique twisted 'wire' neck detail.
Our post-ready pack design features a zigzag internal fold, which forms the shape of a 'W' for Wire Works, protecting the whisky in transit and works as a display for the bottle. This zigzag fitting within the box forms the shape of a 'W' for Wire Works, and also mirrors the architectural features of the distillery bridge across the river Derwent.
