THE GLADSTONE AXE BLENDED MALT SCOTCH WHISKY
William Gladstone, four times prime minister had a love for Scotland. He signed the Spirits Act of 1860 which allowed blending of Scotch for the first time ever. Known as “The Grand Old Man” his passion and pastime was felling trees with his trusty collection of axes.

Our label depicts a young William Gladstone with his trusty axe, while our bottle design has sculptured embossing that shows him chopping down a tree.
