The maverick Irish Jockey, Shanky, was always one to buck the trend. When thrown from his horse, he stylishly returned to the track with an ostrich and cart, and obviously, his whip.

A staunch whiskey drinker, Shanky enjoyed his whisky but didn’t like the burn. Shanky, the ever resourceful and creative thinker had a light bulb moment. His favouite tipple was Stout with its rich inky colour and creamy texture, combined with his beloved whiskey, he invented Shanky’s Whip Irish Whiskey Liqueur. A deep black colour with the creamy finish but the taste of whiskey.

The label matches the complex nature of this whiskey, the colourful matchbox inspired artwork features the fantastical Irish Jockey, a wild boy of racing, and wondrous reminder of the unique thought process of the founder.
